The law states that children must use an approved car seat or booster seat until they reach a height of 150 cm:

  • Group 0/0+ seats: for children up to 13 kg (about 15 months).
  • Group 1 seats: for children from 9 to 18 kg (9 months to about 4 years).
  • Group 2/3 seats: for children from 15 to 36 kg (about 4 to 12 years old).

After exceeding the height of 125 cm, children can use a backless booster seat.
